Peace of Mind

Have you had cold showers of painMy friend,
you've stood in my rain
Deathly feeling of loneliness
No need to feel shameless
I've been there before
Not wanting to feel any more
Your hearts been broken in half
Mind still living in the past
Cold dark thoughts of suicide
Why don't I do it tonight
Don't worry it will go away
Learn to love another day
Put it in the back of mind
Let it rest and you will find
Dark clouds begin to part
New love will mend the heart
Thoughts of suicide disappear
Self- esteem will reappear
One day you'll be able to say
My friend you've stood in my rain

Blind

Your beauty intoxicates all you encounter,
Yet you fail to notice,
This is your blunder,
You've had a rough time,Though now it is over,
But yet you continue clinging to what is left over,
And in doing this your depression grows deeper,
Pulling you apart at the seams,
Causing you to unravel and fall to you knees,
Pondering desperately: "How much worse can it be? "
To ease your mind of your terrible burden,
You bargain with Satan (as if he cares),
Giving you a release,
in turn for your soul:
That you believe tarnished and not worth much at all,
When all of your friends have been with you till now,
But here comes the crossroads up ahead,
They give you a choice:
"Stand tall or fall down.
"You have your beauty and charm,
Your intelligence and grace,
Good friends and your health,
What more does it take for you?

What Lives in ME

Misled troves on Sunday morning fly away,
I sing as I was the wind,
And burn like the fire.
Trembled cold ice lives in my heart,
Racing are my words.
They twine together as one,
But live together as two.Roses that are gray,
And a ocean no longer blue,
The daze continues.
A bridge not to be crossed,
And a church not to be kneeled in.
Once at peace,
Resting for eternal boundsWill then I live.
